Only slightly better news, is that the electric works and the kitchen is in pretty good shape:
Since this is a very small camper, only 15 feet, it can feel cramped. I opted to discard the two top bunks (one over the dinette and one over the back gaucho bed) and use those areas as open shelving/storage. Once they came out, as well as the useless wardrobe cabinet, it already felt more spacious.
Well, that's all I can bear to show you at the moment. I can feel the chunks rising just thinking about the terrible state of this camper...
The plan is to paint the interior a soft white and install new vinyl peel & stick wood look planks on the floor and the two wet walls of the bathroom. We just need to have walls to paint first! The exterior will require a lot of work, making sure the joints and windows are truly sealed to prevent more rot in the future. Only after it is all sealed will we be able to paint it. Urgh.
Well, wish us luck and I will update ya'll soon!
Cheers!
