Now I have to clean up the crafting mess and figure out where to stash the doors
before Hubby gets home... ;-)

We have been living with the usual, builder grade, over-the-toilet cabinet for years now. It matches the vanity and the color is really not that terrible. However, the doors of said cabinet have seen better days. I am not sure if they were left out in the rain before being installed or if the finish was just compromised from the beginning: Note the peeling finish and raised grain. (Sorry for the photos, the lighting in the bathroom is not great.) First thought was to sand and paint them, but that just felt like waaayyyy too much work. ;-) So, I had an idea! (Visualize a light bulb over my head lighting up - Edison bulb naturally...) Why not just take the doors off and go with the open cabinet as is? The cabinet itself was in great shape, it just needed a little brightening up... I raided my scrapbook paper stash and found some coordinating papers, hot-glued them to the back of the cabinet, and Voila! Instant refresh: So much better than the ugly, peeling doors. I grabbed a basket from the attic for the first aid supplies and meds. I just made a quick matching label and tied it on with some coordinating twine: And here is one more view: Awesome! I have never been so excited to use my bathroom. Well, maybe after that bad dinner a few weeks ago... Ha! It's amazing what 15 minutes worth of work will do.
Now I have to clean up the crafting mess and figure out where to stash the doors before Hubby gets home... ;-) Happy Friday!! Cheers! M J
