I'll do a full post on the exercise room when Hubby ever gets the kitchen doors and drawers out to the shed for their makeover. That cannot happen soon enough for me!
Have a great day Everyone!
Cheers!

Hi there! I got around to another small project this weekend in the exercise room. Since I have been back on my elliptical almost everyday this year (Go Me!), I realized I needed to up the sanitation game in this joint! While shopping at Target the other day, I started looking for sanitizing wipes for the elliptical. Then it hit me - Why be so wasteful? A small investment in a set of dish cloths and a spray bottle is much more environmentally friendly and much less wasteful. I can throw the cloths in the laundry each week with my load of towels and mix up my own cleaning spray! Here is where they sat until I couldn't stand looking at it anymore... I guess it wasn't too bad, but when you are on an elliptical for 45 plus minutes, little things start to bug you... ;-) I had seen a similar DIY done with sisal rope, but all I had was some grosgrain ribbon to work with... Here is all you need for this DIY: It couldn't be simpler, so I'll just tell you the process: Tie the ribbon around one of the spokes then wrap around both spokes until you reach the other side and create a "shelf". Do one extra wrap, tie a knot on the end spoke and pull the extra wrap over the knot to hide it. On the top "shelf", I did a little weaving to make it strong enough to hold the spray bottle. I ran out of ribbon on the bottom "shelf", so no weaving there... Since the bottom shelf is only going to hold a kleenex box, not a problem! Here is the finished product all loaded up... By the way, my spray bottle holds a mixture of 1/3 white vinegar, 2/3 water and about 20 drops of grapefruit essential oil. It is best to spray it onto the cloth and then wipe down your machine... My view just got a little nicer! And my machine a little cleaner... LOL!
