Well, here we are in the new year - 2015! We had a great time at our Friend's New Year's Eve party and danced until my feet hurt! Of course, after all the holiday festivities, comes the reality of normal everyday life. The reality of a house that needs serious de-Christmassing and de-cluttering. The reality that life isn't always easy, fun and enjoyable... We all take the good with the bad and how we deal with them both defines our true character.

I was having a serious decorating block on this mantel! Not sure what my problem was, but it seemed to take me forever...
I wound up using my DIY glittered dear head from last winter with my aluminum horn pieces I picked up for a steal last year. The above quote is also featured. It makes me remember that nature needs the winter so the rebirth of spring is that much more beautiful. Although there have been a few challenges already this year, I have positive hopes that we will power through them with new knowledge and stronger characters!
