At the risk of sounding a bit morbid this morning, I was thinking a lot about death and loss this weekend. I've lost some pretty incredible people in my lifetime, but I have, thankfully, been able to grieve those losses in time and incorporate their memories to be enjoyed at will.
Loss and heartache do not define you. They are part of your story.

While I know dealing with loss is different for everyone, personally, I choose to take my lost loved ones along with me for the ride. They would want, everyone of them, for those they left behind to break out of the grief cycle and live their lives to the fullest. Staying ensconced in a mire of grief is just a way of existing, it is not living as our loved ones would wish for us.
So, I am sending out my happy memories of all you guys, I miss you and love you. Now, keep up with me and enjoy the ride! ;-)
