Our Niecey has moved out to fly on her own and we are wishing the best for her. People are different and the one thing we needed to realize was that imparting hard life lessons to others is not always received wholeheartedly or even willingly. Sometimes, the only way someone can learn those tough life lessons is to be out on their own…
Letting go doesn’t mean giving up, but rather accepting that there are things that cannot be.

Hubby and I did our best, but in the end you cannot MAKE someone hear you. You cannot FORCE someone to make the right decisions. In the end, you can only hope that they learned something of value and that those lessons will pop up to help them through future difficult situations. Hope springs eternal, does it not?
In the meantime, we are moving forward. Husband and wife, best friends, soulmates and confidantes. We have been through some very difficult times and survived. This will be no different. Besides, we don’t have time to dwell, we both work, we have a kitchen to update and, now, a bedroom to put back together… Priorities my peeps! ;-)
I hope you all have a wonderful week!
Cheers!
