Monday Boost

This time of year is ripe with events in our area as you may have noticed.  This weekend was the annual Oyster Fest.  We had beautiful weather and had a great time despite the distinct lack of fried oysters.  Seriously, how do you run out of oysters at an Oyster Fest??  Oh well!  Our friend did manage to snag some oyster fritters, but we all had a hankerin' for some fried oysters.  The day's saving grace was the Chesapeake Bay Retriever Demonstrations.  Those dogs are so smart!

The Maritime Museum is a wonderful venue for events and the views aren't too shabby either!

We were having such a great time watching the doggie demonstrations (and heckling the time keeper - Ha!), I just had to snap the oh-so-obligatory selfie...

Yikes!  My face is huge in this pic and man are our wrinkles showing!  ;-)  Although the event didn't live up to its usual awesomeness this year, we are still glad we went and enjoyed ourselves...
As you grow older, you'll find that the only things you regret are the things you didn't do.
